Hot off the press!!
Hot off the press!!

I just received word from Cascade Record Press that the vinyl records of “Syncopated Classic” have been pressed and are entering the final phase of production!! Thank you again for making this project a reality & I can’t wait to get you your pledge packages!!

To assist in delivering the 291 pledge packages in a timely fashion, I have decided to use Backerkit to help me. Keep an eye out for an email tomorrow with the Backerkit survey. This survey will provide me with the necessary information to mail your pledge gifts PLUS it will have the link to the digital download of the album!! Please fill out the Backerkit survey at your earliest convenience and enjoy the digital download of the record!!

A few sundry details about the Backerkit process…

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, provide shipping information, and pledge for more “add-ons” if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be coming very soon via email!

If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before we finalize the surveys for processing.

If you prefer, you can just message me and give me your information, but answering your survey will help me get your rewards out to you quicker. BackerKit will save me lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing me with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments. Whew!!

If you used Facebook to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you'd prefer to use, please message me.

Hello everyone!!

I am still ironing out the details on the best way to deliver the digital audio in the highest format possible. Since many of you requested lossless audio, I am having the tracks made to both FLAC and MP3.

Stay tuned - we almost have it worked out!!

Thank you,

Greg

Tin Type Photo & Direct to 78 Acetate Recording!!
about 7 years ago – Fri, Apr 21, 2017 at 07:35:51 AM

Thank you everyone!! This is amazing—the campaign is 91% funded in 15 days with 192 backers. I am so appreciative of each and every one of you for helping make this happen!!

A few weeks ago, here in Seattle, I was photographed direct to tin type!! Last week, when I was in New Orleans, I recorded one of Waldron's compositions with clarinetist Dennis Lichtman direct to 78 RPM acetate!! I though you all would enjoy these old school technologies in combination!! While this composition of Waldron's will appear on the record, this version was made especially for you—capturing a live, off-the-cuff live duo recording on an old-fashioned medium!!
